    Step one T:Good afternoon, class. Today, we are going to learn unit.1.First,please check the new words and expressions of this unit with your partner ( Key words and expressions: culture, state, look into, rare, vase, belong to, in search of, gift, ton, stone, melt, once, heat, design, fancy, style, king, artist, in return, reception, wonder, at war, remove, furniture, secretly, wooden, doubt, remain, mystery, apart,) Using a slide projector. (ask the students to do a group word competition)

    T:. Look at the title of Unit 1. Please tell me what the topic is this unit.

    T: Do you know what cultural relics are?
    (let the students to do group discussion and answer)
    T: All of you did a good job. Ok, let me tell you what cultural relics are. Cultural relics are physical remainders of what different peoples valued in the past and continue to value now. It can also be said that cultural relics are more than works of art, they are symbols of history and the people who lived in the past. Using a slide projector

    T: Ok, class, do you think these cultural relics beautiful?
    S: Yes, very beautiful.
    T: Suppose one of them got lost, how would you feel and what will you do with it?
