What you should know before activating iPhone? To ensure the best experience with your new iPhone, note the following items: ? Use the SIM card pre-installed in your device. ? Activating iPhone for the first time on your line of service will create a new Visual Voicemail box. Please act on all voice messages in your existing voicemail box prior to activation. All existing voice messages will be erased and irretrievable upon activation of iPhone and Visual Voicemail. ? Use of iPhone requires an AT&T voice plan and an iPhone-eligible data plan. If iPhone is being used without an eligible data plan, an eligible data plan may be added to the line of service and you will be billed the appropriate monthly fee. ? If you are upgrading from a non-iPhone device, activation will remove any existing international data plans from your line of service. You will need to add a Data Global Plan for iPhone to replace your existing plan. ? Certain wireless services may not be compatible with iPhone. These include, without limitation: Push to Talk and pooled data plans. Certain legacy voice plans are ineligible for use with iPhone. These include, without limitation: legacy AT&T Wireless, legacy Dobson, TDMA and analog plans. ? Use of iPhone to access corporate email, company intranet sites and/or other business applications requires an Enterprise Data Plan for iPhone. Accessing corporate email may require your IT department to configure the mail server and firewall. To complete iPhone activation with wireless service from AT&T 1. Locate the following: SIM Card Number: The 20-digit SIM number (ICCID) is printed on the box and on the SIM card. IMEI Number: The IMEI number can be found on the product box. It is also etched on the SIM tray. Wireless Number: This is the phone number associated with your AT&T line of service. Premier Order Number: The confirmation number of your Premier order. 2. If you purchased iPhone with no contract term commitment, call 800-331-0500 to select a voice plan and a data plan. 4. Go to www.itunes.com/download and install the latest version of the iTunes? application to your computer. Activation does not require the creation of an iTunes account. 5. Follow the on-screen instructions. – Your iPhone may prompt you to connect to iTunes via a Mac or PC. – If you do not have iTunes installed on your computer, download it for FREE at iTunes.com.
