This course is designed for students who want to improve their general abilities in listening
and speaking in English. Specifically, it will focus on strategies aimed at solving language
problems, as well as encouraging students to be responsible for managing their own language
learning. Coursework will include group discussions, presentations, role-plays, pair work
and diagnostic assessments, as well as practice activities to develop listening and speaking
skills to be done in class and independently outside class.

individual projects, as well as practice activities to be done independently outside class.

This course is designed for students who want to expand their vocabulary in English.
Specifically, it will focus on developing strategies for learning, remembering and using
vocabulary appropriately. This course will also encourage students to assume responsibility
for managing their own vocabulary learning. Coursework will include group discussions,
pair work, presentations, practice activities, a project and keeping a learning journal.
