What is the 2012 NBA Rising Stars Challenge?
The NBA Rising Stars Challenge provides fans with an opportunity to watch the brightest young stars go
head-to-head! NBA personalities will serve as team captains for the game, picking from a pool of players
comprised of NBA rookies and sophomores. Fans will have an opportunity to share their input with the
team captains leading up to All-Star weekend via social media.
When and where is the 2012 NBA Rising Stars Challenge?
NBA Rising Stars Challenge will take place Friday, February 24 at 9:00 pm EST at the Amway Center in
downtown Orlando and will be televised on TNT.

NBA All-Star Saturday Night presented by State Farm is a competition that includes:
Haier Shooting Stars
Four teams competing in a two-round timed shooting event. Teams are comprised of an NBA Player, NBA
Legend and WNBA player. Teams will shoot from six locations of increasing difficulty; the two teams
with the fastest times will advance to the final round. The team with the fastest time will be the winner.
Taco Bell Skills Challenge
Six players competing in a two-round "obstacle course", consisting of dribbling, passing and shooting
stations. The three players with the fastest times from the first round will advance to the finals. The player
with the fastest time will be deemed the winner.
